A Risk Mitigation Certificate is a document Asia Direct issues to
clients after completing all necessary Supplier Vetting and Quality Control measures. The certificate
is valid for six (6) months and confirms the supplier's business, products, manufacturing processes,
and business continuity — protecting your importation needs.

Shipping & Freight
Air Freight is the fastest option — goods can be transported quickly
with highly reliable arrival and departure times. The downside is that goods cannot be moved in large
volumes. Sea and road freight are more cost-effective for large shipments but take longer.
Our shipping lead time schedule is as follows:
Air Freight: 5–8 days
Sea Freight FCL: 21–28 days

Yes. Asia Direct offers Door-To-Door Delivery from your
manufacturer/supplier/vendor. Whether your shipment is FOB or Ex-Works, we facilitate shipping and
quote you from the port to your delivery address anywhere in Southern Africa.
As an Import & Export company, we can do customs clearances on behalf
of clients who have shipped with us — or even those who have not. We handle all customs queries,
inspections, and clearances across Southern Africa, calculated as per your product's HS Codes.
Asia Direct does not directly offer insurance, however we can
facilitate helping our clients obtain cargo insurance for their shipments through our trusted
insurance partners.

costs. Our fee structure is transparent and discussed with you upfront before any engagement begins.
You should first obtain a Quotation/Proforma Invoice from your
supplier. That document should include:

There are standard charges to be aware of in shipping:
Landside Charges: Cargo dues, haulier (cartage), port and handling fees.
Origin/Export Charges: Port charges and services used in the country of origin
before cargo is shipped.
Destination Port Fees: Covers movement, unpacking, inspection, and
administrative tasks at the port of destination.
